Carol Diorio, MS.SpEd, Director
Carol Diorio has always had an innate gift for bringing joy and positivity into the lives of children and families. A lifelong musician, her playful creativity naturally informs her work as an Early Intervention Specialist and leads to exceptional results that support the lifelong health and happiness of not only your children, but your whole family.
While raising her own children as a single mother, Ms. Diorio knew she wanted to make a bigger difference, and went back to school. Carol received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Adelphi University in Early Childhood Education and Psychology and went on to teach in classrooms for several years. She has since gone on to provide home-based Early Intervention Services for more than 20 years. Through this work, Carol has developed a valuable wealth of strategies that work to help family life with a special needs child/children run smoother. She has developed a keen understanding of family dynamics for all types of family make ups.
In addition, Carol has developed a sharp intuition for finding target areas to implement action for change.
During the pandemic, when Early Intervention Services went virtual, Carol began to realize the value of coaching parents. Her dream is to empower parents through short zoom sessions, that are affordable and effective.

We will educate parents on their child's development including activities to enhance that development, that are comprehensive and easy to incorporate into your daily routine.
School Advocacy
We can help families navigate and communicate with their school's child study team. We can attend meetings, decipher reports, observe your child at school, and communicate with support staff.
Sibling Education
Sibling relationships are crucial for instilling positive and permanent changes in your child's development. We guide families to support siblings of children with disabilities to be a source of support and encouragement, as well as strategies for improvign sibling relationships.
Professional Training Seminars
Designed primarily for day care staff, we offer comprehensive on-site or virtual Service Training Seminars to ensure all staff are educated in ways to identify delays and respond proactively, and incorporate activities that enhance development.
